totally constant

My Greeley weekend was pretty fun and patriotic. I went to the Greeley Stampede on Saturday night. While walking down the entrance path littered with hot tub booths & air brush tshirt kiosks, some drunk girl muttered "OUT OF PLACE" as we all walked by. Well, she was probably right. I convinced someone to buy deep fried oreo cookies, ate some fried coke, and watched lots of unfortunate people in cowboy hats do some sexy hip thrust dancing. All while Poison played inside the stadium (I THINK IT WAS MORE FUN IN THERE!) ANYWAY, the carnival was quite a bit more depressing than I remembered, but still amazing looking nonethless. Also I can't believe I didn't go inside MARDI GRAS or CLOWN HOUSE -- nothing beats a cardboard magical land that has a much more exciting outside than inside. It's like the time I took that flight to mars at Lakeside and was treated to a couple crappy plastic aliens in a brightly lit room. I do believe the exterior promised sexy aliens dancing and humans being whisked away by flying saucers and the interior just didn't deliver. OR, when I was a kid, I remember one of the rides at the stampede had a painting of a gumball machine filled with eyeballs. I thought that thing would REALLY BE INSIDE the haunted house. Needless to say, it wasn't.
